Yield: 4 Delicious Portions
2 Cups, Fresh Strawberries, topped and
sliced
1 Cup seedless grapes, washed, stemmed,
and cut in half
1 ea Ripe Banana
2 teaspoons brown sugar
4 Tablespoons Local Honey
4 Tablespoons Yogurt
1/4 c Heavy Whipping Cream, beat with a
wisk to make whipped cream, medium peaks.
Local honey to drizzle
1- Place the sliced strawberries and
grapes in a bowl and toss.
2- In a small saute pan, turn the heat
on medium. Place the brown sugar and honey in the pan
and mix well. Add the bananas and cook for about 45
seconds, stirring during the duration of the time. You
want to watch the mixture so it does not burn. And
trust me, it burns easily! :) (Dont ask me how I
know!)
3- Place mixture in a small food
processor. Add yogurt and process until smooth.
4- Place mixture in a bowl and gently
fold in whipped cream.
5- In a martini glass or clear ramkin
(or whatever you have), place a little of the sauce
mixture in the bottom.
6- Layer the strawberry mixture.
7- Add a layer of the sauce mixture.
8- Add the final layer of the
strawberry mixture.
9- Drizzle with honey and serve.
This is a great salad. I love how
freshing it is. It really brings together some of Gods
best creations: Honey, Strawberries, and Grapes.
